Speaker Bio
Rosa Maria Bruno is a Medical Doctor, Hypertension Specialist and she holds a PhD in clinical Pharmacology and Pathophysiology. She is currently researcher at the Paris Cardiovascular Research Centre – INSERM (Paris- France) and lecturer at the University of Paris. Her research is focused on non- invasive biomarkers of vascular aging, in particular arterial function and structure tests, in cardiovascular and non- cardiovascular diseases. This interest led to her to be the principal investigator of the CARTESIAN study, aimed at exploring long- term cardiovascular consequences of COVID- 19. She is also working on clinical validation studies of new technologies for vascular aging assessment. She is among the initiators of the COST action VascAgeNet and she leads Working Group 4, “Data and research studies- big data approaches.
